WINGS FOR ESSENTIAL WORKERS PROGRAM TAKES OFF

SUNY Downstate Hospital Employees Among First Tour Flight Recipients

Morristown, New Jersey, January 2022

Alpha Aviation’s Wings for Essential Workers Program is set to take flight by awarding complimentary sightseeing tour flights of New York City to 24 surgeons at SUNY Downstate Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

The Wings for Essential Workers Program recipients are being treated to a 60-minute flight with breathtaking views of NYC and surrounding areas, as well as refreshments and a video recording of the entire experience.

The Wings for Essential Workers Program is funded by sponsors and donors. Sponsors are business-funded

contributions and Donors are individual-funded contributions. These sponsors and donors are gifted with Alpha Aviation Acknowledgement Awards; 501(c)3 tax-deductible receipts; and are given public credit for funding such a noteworthy cause.

Kelvin King, CEO of Alpha Aviation, Inc., says “too often we say thank you with just our words, but true gratitude has action behind it.”

Putting his money where his  mouth is, Kelvin’s family will serve as the initial donors, funding the first of three SUNY Downstate Aviation Day events where a total of 24 surgeons will be honored. Kelvin says the reason for the donation is because of his history with SUNY Downstate Hospital.

King says “Not only was I born at SUNY Downstate, but my mother had a successful career in the admitting department before she got sick and passed, so this effort honors essential workers as well as my mother’s memory at the hospital.
