Alpha Aviation and D2 Flight Academy

Joint Venture Partnership

Alpha Aviation, Inc., is pleased to announce a historic joint venture partnership with North Carolina-based D2 Flight Academy.

Under this historic partnership, D2 Flight Academy will expand its operations into the highly dense, important tri-state area and New York City market.

By partnering with Morristown Municipal Airport-based Alpha Aviation, Inc., D2 Flight Academy will establish a New York City campus, growing its footprint and offering its successful deliverables to the robust NYC market.

D2 Flight Academy is a Part 141 flight school, and under this agreement, Alpha Aviation will become the NYC- campus/satellite base, pending FAA approvals.

D2 Flight Academy is also one of Liberty University’s Flight Training Affiliates. As a flight training affiliate, D2’s expansion into the state of NJ also brings Liberty University’s excellent program into northern New Jersey which now gives the robust NYC metropolitan access to accredited online degree programs and financing aid provided by FAFSA for students demonstrating financial need.

The benefits of this agreement:

Deserving students in the tri-state area now has an accredited Part 141 flight training program that also provides credits towards bachelors degrees at Liberty University.

Qualifying students, aspiring to become professional pilots, will now be able to afford their degree, as well as their flight training costs due to FAFSA’s financial aid programs.

D2 Flight Academy’s part 141 satellite base partnership with Alpha Aviation gives them the experienced leadership and great staffing to run the emerging NYC campus. “Getting Captain Kelvin King, a United Airlines Captain as well as a seasoned executive within the flight school industry to oversee our NYC campus is a major help in growing our business and ensuring the campus runs properly.” Says (name of a decision maker at D2).

Alpha’s fleet of aircraft, staffing, and all resources will be dedicated to supporting the NYC campus.

We believe this collaborative effort gives hundreds of students access to be best financial aid in the industry which are FAFSA’s funding programs. D2 Flight Academy is a great school, with with a great leadership team. This is a good fit and we are ready to get started.”
